Two years after his 2009 debut album, Jeremy Ji (a.k.a. Blue J) is back with his sophomore effort Yu Ren (literally "Fish Man")! The Taiwan singer-songwriter-producer spent one and a half year on traveling, and then wrote and recorded 10 songs in six months. He shares his intimate feelings in the new album, which comprises a variety of music styles. Yu Ren's first plug "Tears of Goldfish" is a piano rock ballad inspired by Jeremy's recent heartbreaks. There are also songs in the style of R&B ("Why Why Why", "Eyes of Love", "First Lady", and "Phone"), pop ("Ragtime Piano" and "Dreamland"), folk ("Cotton Fields" and "Lullaby"), and British rock ("Let Go").
