Wheesung releases “Words That Freeze My Heart” mini-album, sweeps online music charts

Earlier today, Wheesung released the MV for his comeback track, ”Words That Freeze My Heart“. The full mini-album has finally been released, and its title track has gone on to sweep various online music charts like Mnet, Melon, Dosirak, and Naver.

The entire mini-album was written and produced by Wheesung, but he received help for his title track from composer Kim Do Hoon and B2ST’s Junhyung. Netizens have been praising the hot ballad track for its strong beat, orchestrated melody, Wheesung’s husky voice, and Junhyung’s stylish rap.

Singer Wheesung is finally preparing to break his 7 month hiatus with his comeback track, “Words That Freeze My Heart“.

He’s just unveiled a teaser for his new music video, which features a man coldly saying the words, “Let’s end this. Just meet someone else. This is my limit.”



The multi-talented singer wrote, composed, and produced his entire album, as well as directed the music video and stage performance concept from top to bottom.

Wheesung also went through a radical image transformation for his comeback, as he was revealed to have lost 7 kg within a span of three weeks.

Wheesung to be R&B mentor for a program targeting teenagers

Singer Wheesung will be participating in a program funded by brand Sports Multishop called “Mentoring Program for Teenagers“. The program will seek to teach participants the ins and outs of R&B.

His representative stated, “Wheesung will be participating in the Dream Project with Lee Haneul, No Brain, and Popping Hyun Joon. Dream Project is a project dedicated to mentoring teenagers and helping them launch their dreams in hip hop, R&B, rock, and dance. We plan to mentor in all four genres.”

Wheesung will be the R&B mentor for five months, providing vocal training in addition to educating them about the genre as a whole.

In further news, Wheesung’s new album, which he composed, wrote, and produced himself, will be out on March 15th.
