We reported earlier that AKB48’s Oshima Yuko attended the launch event for Hong Kong’s Japanese anime expo, “C3 in Hong Kong 2011“, and it’s now been announced that her sister group, SKE48, will also hold a live performance at the event!

“C3 in Hong Kong 2011″ will be held for three days, from March 11th to 13th, at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (Hall 3FG). The SKE48 performance will take place on the second day, March 12th, with 500 seats available at a first-come first-serve basis (those who don’t get a seat can still watch from outside the viewing area).

The members set to make an appearance in Hong Kong are:
Isohara Kyoka, Umemoto Madoka, Kaneko Shiori, Kobayashi Ami, Sakai Mei, Takagi Yumana, Takeuchi Mai, Tsuzuki Rika, Mano Haruka, Yamada Erika, who are all in Team E, and trainee Kito Momona.

Details to the event can be found on their official website, although it is only available in Chinese.

SKE48 reveals PV for “Dareka no Sei ni Shinai”

SKE48 has just unveiled the PV for their new song, “Dareka no Sei ni Shinai”!

The song is more mature than their song “Banzai Venus”, with a dark music video to match. “Dareka no Sei ni Shinai” is the B-side to the regular and theater versions of their upcoming single, which will be released on March 9th.
