There has been much debate over which student from “Dream High“ will grow to become the world star ‘K’, especially because of a particular line from Ham Eun Jung.

The February 21st episode saw ‘Go Hyemi’ (Bae Suzy), ‘Song Sam Dong’ (Kim Soo Hyun), ‘Jin Guk’ (Ok Taecyeon), ‘Kim Pil Sook’ (IU), ‘Jason’ (Jang Wooyoung), and ‘Yoon Baek Hee’ (Ham Eun Jung) audition for the worldwide music label, ‘EMG’.

Pushing past the strict rules and regulations that discouraged other tryouts, the six strove to make it into the finals. ‘Kang Oh Hyuk’ (Uhm Ki Joon) said, “Don’t show me your future, but your past. Show me how much you’ve changed in a year and those watching you will know to anticipate how you’ll change a year from now.”

Showing both their singing and dancing skills, as well as footage from their past, the six contestants aimed to do just what ‘Kang Oh Hyuk’ desired. But Yoon Baek Hee stood out with her introduction, in which she declared herself to be the singer ‘K’. She also asserted, “I don’t think my image was good due to a scandalous incident. That is why I have to work more intensely than anyone else. This could be seen as my advantage.”

She continued, “Right now, the title of ‘finalist K’ is something golden to me, and I will work hard to become that K which represents all of Korea. Look forward to what I can do.”

Judging from these lines, netizens have started to conclude that Yoon Baek Hee will become the world star ‘K’.


《Dream High》恩靜昏睡的四種形象

After finally realizing their feelings for one another on last week’s episode of KBS’s “Dream High“, the trailer for the 14th episode featured footage of ‘Pil Sook’ and ‘Jason’ holding hands as they prepare to submit their video auditions.

For the past few episodes, the ‘milky couple’ has been melting the hearts of fans with their push-and-pull tactics, so fans were elated to see them initiate skinship like this. They gushed, “They make me so excited,” and “What if they have their first kiss!”

The preview of the upcoming episode which will air on February 21st also brought out the viewers’ curiosity about the other cast members, as they saw ‘Baek Hee’ pulling ‘Hyemi’ into a hug and asking what’s going to happen to ‘Jin Guk’, as ‘Jin Guk’ watches on in tears.




Netizens debate over Suzy's weight

Netizens have been critiquing Suzy and her body in a particularly negative light.

People are pointing out that she has gained weight after joining “Dream High“. Because of a few comparison photos, they say that she was thinner while she was working with miss A for promotions.

Still, opinions remained divided. Some wrote, “I think Suzy gained weight”, while others asserted that “It’s just the angle of the camera.”

A “Dream High” representative stated, “Suzy has been working very hard and she’s eating all her meals as well as healthy foods. She’s gained a tiny bit of weight and went up one size in her school uniform.”

Some fans commented, “Even if she loses or gains weight, she is still cute and pretty to me” and “She was too skinny before, I like the way she is now.”

What do you guys think? I think I can see the slight difference, not that it matters.

最近金秀炫公開了為雜誌《marie claire》拍攝的造型照，他那賦予男性魅力的樣子一經公開就吸引了大眾的矚目。而在接受同步進行的採訪時，他表示為了演好宋三東這個角色，還接受了演 唱和方言的學習。金秀賢說：『之所以能飾演天才歌者宋三東這個角色，是源於自去年夏季開始每天5個小時的演唱訓練和不停的反復的練習。』『和年齡差不多的 配角一起，互相不競爭，讓演技得以發揮，好像也是促成電視劇成功的另一原因。』『我想平生在攝像機前，表現不是過去不是未來，而是當下的樣子。』金秀賢的這次造型照將在《marie claire》第三期與大家見面。

Through his latest photoshoot with Marie Claire Korea, actor Kim Soo Hyun shed his school boy charms for a more mature style that emphasized his charisma in black and white.

Different from his role of ‘Sam Dong’ in KBS’s “Dream High,” the photoshoot aimed to capture his real age of 24 through crisp and modern clothes and deep, emotional gazes.

A representative of the magazine commented, “He’s an actor with a smart feel of what he needs to do in order to express a certain image. He created beautiful cuts that led us all to believe he was a professional model, and also understood all of the clothing and concepts we were aiming for. His ability to express all of that is amazing.”
