Nicknamed the ‘UEE of Apgujung-dong,’ a new solo artist by the name of Han Groo released her debut album, “GROO ONE,” on January 12th.

Her album is the work of the industry’s maestro, Joo Young Hoon(你是我一生中最大的驕傲作曲周英勳 주영훈), who’s known for his works with Uhm Jung Hwa, Fin.K.L, Kim Jong Kook, and KARA. Han Groo’s debut album features six fun and addictive songs, like her title track, “Witch Girl,” and “Paradise,” “SF,” and “Sh~! Secret.”

“Witch Girl” was composed by a rookie composer discovered by Joo himself and is considered a fun shuffle rhythm dance track with an addictive loop.

The music video for the song features vibrant colors that bring out Han Groo’s dual charms for sexiness and innocence.

Representatives of her agency commented, “Han Groo has been trained in ballet, hip hop, and tap dance ever since she was little. Her music video shows off her explosive energy and powerful choreography, which will surely capture the attention of the public.”

Rookie solo singer Han Groo has been revealed to have a successful past as a competitive dancer.

She’s reported to have won numerous dancing awards and competitions in America, including 1st place for hip hop at Dance USA, 2nd place for jazz at the Showbiz Dance Competition, 1st for hip hop at the Dancespot Dance Competition, and 3rd for tap at Starpower Dance Competition.

Not only that, but she’s placed 3rd for lyrical dancing at American Stage, 2nd place for hip hop, 3rd for jazz, and 2nd for tap in 2005 at the Hall of Fame Dance Challenge.

Her agency is calling her a “dancing machine.”

In further news, she’ll be officially starting activities after the release of her single “Witch Girl” yesterday.

Singer Han Groo, a product of the Climix Academy, released the teaser for her debut music video today, titled “Witch Girl“.
