We are just less than 24 hours away from the premiere of KBS 2TV’s ‘Dream High‘ and Part 1 of the OST has just been released, to get fans into the mood.
Part 1 of the OST contains 2 songs, which are both performed by the idol cast members. The first titled, ‘Dream High‘, is sung by Wooyoung, Suzy and JOO, with rapping by Taecyeon, and ties in with the drama’s theme of running after your passions and dreams. The second song is titled, ‘Someday‘ and is performed by IU, and appears to be one for romantic scenes in the drama.

Extended preview of ‘Dream High’ revealed

With the episode premiere almost in sight, KBS 2TV has recently revealed an extended five minute video preview for “Dream High” through their official website.
Having witnessed a slew of promotional stills from the drama in the past few weeks, you can now see those stills in motion through this preview and get a sneak peek of how the drama characters would be like with Suzy, Kim Soo Hyun, Taecyeon, Eunjung, Wooyoung, IU, Bae Yong Joon, Lee Yoon Ji, Uhm Ki Joon, and the other cast members.
The drama depicts the students of ‘Kirin Arts High School’ chasing after their passions and dreams.
The drama will air from January 3rd through KBS 2TV and January 24th through KBS World.

The official set of the star academy from the drama, ‘Dream High‘, was recently revealed.
The 1100-square meter building housing the ‘Kirin Arts High School’ in Gyeonggi-do is decorated with arched doors and hallways, with lecture rooms and cafes for the students to enjoy.
Chief director Jung Ha Myung’s (Bae Yong Joon) office was designed to create a soft tone and atmosphere by adding in minor props.
The enormous saxophone in the lobby was a representation of the students’ love and dreams for succeeding with music.
The unique concept about the building is that everything is out in the open.
The staff room can be seen from the chief director’s room above, and students can also access the director’s room through the cafeteria.
In contrast to other existing school classrooms, the school was created to emphasize the dual growth and development of both the students and the teachers.
