Dal Shabet earns praise from Park Myung Soo

Rookie girl group Dal Shabet made an appearance on their first variety program and earned high praises from some big names in the entertainment industry.

Members Jiyul and Subin joined the recording for KBS 2TV’s “Happy Together 3” and made a successful debut with the compliments of MCs Yoo Jae Suk and Park Myung Soo.

Park Myung Soo, who’s known for usually being harsh on idols, even asked the girls to appear on his own KBS 2TV variety show, “100 Points out of 100.”

After the recording, the girls commented, “Even before our debut, we enjoyed watching ‘Happy Together’ with our families. It’s a great honor to be able to appear on the show. Although we were slightly nervous, our seniors gave us a lot of support and compliments.”
Their episode will broadcast on January 13th.

Dal Shabet's Ayoung chosen as new model for Volkswagen

The CF was filmed late last month in advertisement of Volkswagen’s environment brand, “Blue Motion Online Campaign.“ A representative of the brand commented, “Her innocent features fits well with the concept of our environment promotion program. Her outgoing personality surprised all of the staff since it was her first ever advertisement filming.”

Rookie group Dal Shabet, who recently debuted with “Supa Dupa Diva“, has landed themselves an endorsement deal with global brand “Volkswagen“, just moments after their debut.

Member Ayoung completed the filming for their ‘Blue Motion Online Campaign’ last month.
A representative of their advertisement team revealed, “We believed Ayoung’s innocent features fit well with our environmentally-friendly concept. Despite it being her first film shoot, her outgoing personality made the film set and the staff members that much brighter.”

Ayoung’s advertisement will begin airing at 10AM KST on January 11th through various portal sites.

出道前就引起大家注意的她們於4日正式發行第一張迷你專輯《Supa Dupa Diva》，並在零時透過組合官網(http://dalshabet.com/ )和音源網站公佈了專輯所有歌曲。將引領歌壇新風潮的Dal★shabet 的本張專輯由作詞人E-TRIBE擔任總製作人，製作出了比其他女生團體更加洗練效果的音樂，新專輯共收錄了預示著最頂級女歌手涵義的主打歌曲《Supa Dupa Diva》，以及《DAL SHABET》，《魅力團》和《Oh, wow》共4首歌曲。

尤其是本次的主打歌曲是南韓首次挑戰Urban R&B和鄉村音樂相結合的元素，如同欣賞一部音樂MV的感覺。同天公開的《Supa Dupa Diva》MV中為了展現成員們可愛的一面大膽採用了鮮豔的色彩搭配，而少見的移動式拍攝效果也吸引了大眾的視線。

After all the talk, E-Tribe’s newest 6-member girl group project – Dal Shabet has finally unveiled their MV teaser for their debut title track, ‘Supa Dupa Diva‘.

Comprised of leader Viki (22), Serri (20), Ji Yul (19), A Young (19), Ka Eun (18), and Su Bin (16), the teaser gives off a colorful vibe with the comic book setting and their bright outfits.

A representative of Happy Face Entertainment stated, “We’re thankful that people were so interested in the group with just their album jacket concept photos. Due to the support of the fans, we’ve decided to release the teaser a day earlier than planned.”

In an interview with Seoul NTN on December 31st, the Dal Shabet members said, “Our debut track, ‘Supa Dupa Diva,’ is composed of cute slangs used by teens, and stands for being the best like ‘king wang zzang.’ Since we are a girl group starting off with a new year, we’ll be working hard until we become the divas of the Korean music industry.”

Produced by E-TRIBE, the song is the first crossover between urban R&B and country in Korea and their performances are also set up to give the feel of musicals.

The full version of the music video will be released early next year, followed by the digital release of their ‘Supa Dupa Diva’ album on the morning of January 4th.

The group will be debuting through Mnet’s “M! Countdown” on the 6th, followed by KBS 2TV’s “Music Bank” on the 7th, and SBS’s “Kim Jung Eun Chocolate” on the 9th.
