Rocker Nanase Aikawa, who debuted 15 years ago on November 8th, 1995 with the single 「夢見る少女じゃいられない」“Yume Miru Shoujo ja Irarenai“, celebrated the momentous occassion with a live in Tokyo's SHIBUYA-AX.

Aikawa, who was greeted by nearly 1500 people at the venue, told her fans while fighting back tears that she was very glad to be there after 15 years. “I’m here today because everyone tried and made it possible. I want to return the favour by having a big 16th year.“

Aikawa sang both “Yume Miru Shoujo ja Irarenai” and “Fine Fine Day” at her anniversary live, as well as 19 other tracks.



The singer also recently launched another solo pop project under the name of Rockstar Steady, and will release the debut song “Fine Fine Day” on December 8th. The project is headed by an entirely new image for Aikawa: as she depicts herself as a lesbian. The project is sure to get the attention of many, as she begins her 16th year in the music industry.

Finally, Aikawa recently announced through her official Twitter account that her newest studio album should be completed and released by February 2011.
