After making their debut on ‘Inkigayo‘ last night, rookie group EVAS recently released their music video for their debut track “I Want To Be Alone.”

This new trio consists of members Asera, Abi and Pesi and it appears that they’ve decided their musical style to be ‘ballads’. Although the music video isn’t visually stunning, their skillful vocals and catchy melody captivates listeners.

Honestly, sometimes a simplistic music video is just what we need to break away from all the sensory overload that idol groups whip out in their music videos these days.

EVAS makes their debut on Inkigayo

Consisting of three members – Asera (Kim Jung Hee), Abi (Hong Joo Ah), and Pesi (Won Eun Ji) – rookie girl group EVAS made their debut on Inkigayo today!

Coming from completely out of the blue, it’s understandable if you don’t quite get their name.

The group’s name comes from the names of Greek gods Eros, Venus and Artemis, and symbolize love, beauty, and purity.



Their debut track “I Want To Live Alone” was produced by composers Lee Sang Baek and Han Sang Won, and is available in three different versions, one of which features One Two’s Song Ho Bum. The other two versions feature a vocalist who goes by the nickname ‘The 2nd Ha Dong Kyun.”

An official from EVAS agency, sb-crazy, stated, “Compared to the current idol music and electronic sounds, this song is a medium ballad that will evoke emotional feelings in the audience’s ears.”
