2002年以「戰地琴人The Pianist」拿下奧斯卡「最佳導演」大獎加冕的Roman Polanski現任嬌妻、祖父為法國Comedie Francaise劇院首席、入圍兩次Cesar Awards的「最佳女配角」肯定的Emmanuelle，模特兒出生的她，1984年開始陸續參與Jean-Luc Godard以及多位名導的電影拍攝。由Pierre Emery和Gil Lesage兩位才氣男女共組Ultra Orange搖滾樂團，經歷三張大受樂壇讚譽的專輯後，在Gil建議下Pierre和Emmanuelle開始一起創作歌謠，飛到西班牙和法國尋求靈感，2007年三人齊力完成處女之航《Ultra Orange & Emmanuelle》，給予Emmanuelle最完美的初體驗，也開始醞釀屬於自己的個人作品。

因為法國時尚香頌女伶Keren Ann的創作單曲〈Dingue〉，而引發Emmanuelle推出首張法語大碟《Dingue》之構想，同時邀請Keren本人親臨參與製作/合音/樂器演奏，引起歌壇極度矚目。急速且強韌的吉他牽引〈Dingue〉序幕，但是搭配Emmanuelle媚惑無比的吟唱方式，以及甜而不膩的合音驅使，形成有趣的反差效果，頗值得樂迷反覆玩味；轉換弦樂和Acoustic對話的〈Le Fantome〉，幻化一幅動人詩篇般的柔美場景；接著輕鬆愉悅的〈Le Jour Parfait〉，毫無聆聽壓力的使人心情為之一開；有著「龐克教父」、「龐克變色龍」稱謂的傳奇大師Iggy Pop幫腔之〈La Derniere Pluie〉，一改先前叛逆性格，異常迷離的冷調對唱，包覆大量美到不可思議的聲韻；金獎大導Roman Polanski發聲口白於〈Qui Etes-Vous?〉裡頭，體驗Emmanuelle最千嬌百媚的赤裸告白，釋放最致命的吸引力。

The 11 tracks on the album were composed, written and arranged by Keren Ann and Doriand and includes duets with Iggy Pop and Emmanuelle's husband Roman Polanski. The album was recorded by Tibo Javoy, mixed by Tore Johansson (Franz Ferdinand producer) and mastered by Chab. Features the first single 'Dingue'. Sony/BMG.


On 2/8 the new album by Emmanuelle Seigner is officially released - let's hope it's not postponed again because what I heard do far did not disappoint at all. As you know, the orginal releasedate (Nov 2, '09) was rescheduled because of Roman Polanski's extradition-troubles. A song from the new album was on a Rock & Folk-compilation I picked up yesterday in Bruxelles. Femme Fatale is a better song imho then first single Dingue. Lyrics and music by Doriand and Keren Ann.
