We were quite surprised to learn that Katie Melua teamed up with producer William Orbit (Madonna’s Ray of Light 光芒萬丈, Melanie C 媚兒喜, All Saints 聖女合唱團) for her new album ‘The House‘. Her new single ‘The Flood‘, written with Guy Chambers and Lauren Christy, starts off quite moody and string-drenched before speeding up halfway through and taking on a disco-tinged vibe reminiscent of All Saints single ‘Pure Shores‘.
