Children and Corpse Playing in the Streets consists of two girls who along with friends create everything from lovely vulnerable lo-fi pop, to ramshackle dance tunes and weird noise drones. They play everything they can get their hands on when it comes to instruments, boxes and games at the same time as they sing, whistle and make effects with their voices. The music belongs to an ever so slightly indefinable genre with a charm all of its own and an intimate and open expression. Imagine for yourself Alice in Wonderland plunging down the black hole before she lands in her ruby shoes somewhere or other in Twin Peaks. A place where the grass grows in time with the heavens and the stars look like small fish!
