Years of Refusal is the forthcoming ninth solo album by Morrissey. Distributed by Decca in the UK and Lost Highway in the US, it is set for release on 16 February 2009 and 17 February 2009 respectively. Morrissey has described his newest album as "his strongest".

原傳奇樂隊The Smiths的主唱Morrissey，超級英倫搖滾之王，締造無數奇跡的領軍人物，雖然現年已經50歲的他，依舊寶到未老，闊別將近三年後捲土重來，終於在今年初發佈全新專輯《Years Of Refusal》，如此重量級的大牌，你我怎能坐以待斃？

傳奇人物morrissey積蓄三年後的第九張專輯......
Years Of Refusal ，封面上的可愛baby被morrissey說成自己的兒子，暫且不管真假，morrissey依舊有一顆年輕的心以及深情不變的嗓音。今年的新作是年僅39歲的專輯製作人Jerry Finn死前不多的作品之一。

12首新歌仍是以另類搖滾曲風為主，但風格並不單調，像英倫，民謠深受大家喜愛的元素會出現於不同的歌曲中。首曲 "Something Is Squeezing My Skull" 便以強勁的鼓點和爽快的吉他開場，而morrissey更是在首句就唱到:"I'm doing very well......"，還有"I'm Throwing My Arms Around Paris"中令人難以抗拒的柔美，他的音樂和他的年齡並沒有太多關係，時光荏苒，有些人照樣可以從心中唱出那些事，而且打動人心的分量絲毫未減。
