A PV teaser for Lena’s upcoming song “Hikari” has been revealed!

As tokyohive previously reported, popular model Fujii Lena will be making her major label debut under Universal Musical Japan this summer with a new single called “Hikari”. The title track is a pretty but melancholy pop song backed by an orchestra, featuring lyrics written by Lena herself. The single is scheduled for a release on June 15th.

Popular ViVi model Fujii Lena will be making her major label debut this summer!

According to reports, Fujii Lena has officially switched labels from Columbia to Universal, and will “re-debut” under the name of Lena.  Her first single, “Hikari”, will be used as the ending theme to the drama “Flash Forward”, which was canceled on the American channel ABC, when it begins airing in Japan on the 9th. Lena, a self-professed lover of foreign dramas, is said to have written the lyrics for the song after watching the entire series.
