DREAMS COME TRUEが東日本大震災の復興支援を目的としたベストアルバム『THE SOUL FOR THE PEOPLE 〜東日本大震災支援ベストアルバム〜』をリリース! NGO団体への義援金寄付、配信限定コンピレーションアルバム『アイのうた〜東日本大震災チャリティ・アルバム』への参加、「何度でも」の着うたフル1カ月無料配信など、震災発生後さまざまなチャリティ活動を行なってきたDREAMS COME TRUE。この企画は「震災で被災した人々へ長期間にわたっての支援を続けたい」という2人の強い思いにより実現。このベストアルバムには、過去に発表した2枚のグレイテストヒッツ『THE SOUL』『THE SOUL 2』の楽曲やそれ以降のナンバーから、聴く人を勇気づけてくれる名曲12曲をコンパイル。CDパッケージ、デジタル配信の2形態で発売。DREAMS COME TRUEは作詞・作曲・歌唱に対する印税収入を含め、このアルバムから得られるアーティスト収益のすべてを日本赤十字社を通じて寄付し続ける。 ※本作品のアーティスト収益は、義援金として日本赤十字社に全額寄付され、東日本大震災の被災者支援や被災地の復興支援などに充てられます。

Pop duo DREAMS COME TRUE has announced that they will be releasing a special best album for the victims of the March 11th earthquake, titled “THE SOUL FOR THE PEOPLE ~Higashi Nihon Daishinsai Shien Best Album~“.

DREAMS COME TRUE participated in the charity compilation album “Ai no Uta ~ Higashi Nihon Daishinsai Charity Album” earlier this year, in addition to holding multiple charity lives following the devastating earthquake and tsunami. Their newest compilation album will feature songs from their past best albums as well as more recent songs, all with the goal of giving those who listen the courage to keep on going.

“THE SOUL FOR THE PEOPLE” will only be available digitally when it is released on June 29th. All proceeds from the purchase of this album will be donated to Japanese Red Cross Society.
