Daughter - "Landfill" (from the EP His Young Heart)

Brit neo-folkie Elena Tonra -- Daughter -- has been creating some well-deserved buzz across the pond with songs that  bristle beneath their lovely acoustic surface with a intense, even brutal, intimacy. We hear that Tonra composed the four songs of her new EP His Young Heart while being holed up at her boyfriend's flat but with lines like "Throw me in the landfill, don’t think about the consequences" from our featured track "Landfill" it becomes crystal clear that this is no collection of spun sugar.
