On March 19th, cinematic legend Beat Takeshi and versatile talent Tokoro George decided to team up to donate 10 million yen together to areas affected by the Great Tohoku Earthquake.

Takeshi, who is also working to help build elementary schools amongst other philanthropic activities in the Republic of Benin in West Africa, sent aid after deciding with Tokoro to “do anything [they] could”.

Their generous contribution will surely aid Japan in its recovery from the horrific disasters the people have been suffering as of late.
