以“Shy Boy”獲得超高人氣的4人女子組合Secret將結束活動。經紀公司TS娛樂2月22日表示：“本周音樂節目之後，Secret會結束‘Shy Boy’的活動。”Secret目前在KBS的“音樂銀行”連續三周獲得一位，“M!Countdown”中也多次獲獎，SBS“人氣歌謠”也排名首位，獲得了爆發性的人氣。和隨著時間推移人氣逐漸下滑的其他歌曲不同，“Shy Boy”的反應卻越來越趨向白熱化，這種“奇異現象”於2011年初在歌壇掀起了波瀾。

但是經紀公司方面表示：“可以繼續活動，但是在頂峰時期退出也是很有意義的事情，所以按照計畫結束活動。暫時成員們將專注於各自的個人活動，準備最快將於4月末推出新歌。”同時經紀公司還透露：“宋智恩將發表抒情風格的新歌，展現簡練卻強烈的舞臺。請期待與現在Secret活動時期截然不同的新形象。”目前宋智恩正在拍攝歌曲的MV。新歌將於3月3日公開，並計畫展開1周左右的活動。


After achieving much success with their comeback hit, “Shy Boy“, the ladies of SECRET have announced that they will be ending their promotions.

On February 22nd, TS Entertainment stated, “After performing on this week’s music programs, SECRET will be concluding their ‘Shy Boy’ promotions.”

The girls attained remarkable achievements this time around, with a three week hit on KBS’s “Music Bank“, a Mutizen win on SBS’s “Inkigayo,” and numerous awards from “M Countdown“. Unlike most songs which lose popularity towards the end of a promotion cycle, SECRET’s “Shy Boy” is still doing strong on the charts, demonstrating the song’s undeniable power.

The representative continued, “We could continue with promotions, but we feel that it’s more meaningful to step down while they’re still at the top. The members will be focusing on individual activities for now, and will return with a new comeback album in as early as April.”

Member Ji Eun will begin her solo activities on March 3rd.

After concluding a busy promotional cycle for “Shy Boy“, SECRET has officially announced their solo activities!

On February 22nd, representatives of TS Entertainment revealed through Star News, “The members will be focusing on their individual activities after wrapping up their ‘Shy Boy’ promotions.”

Member Ji Eun will be the first up to bat, as TS continued, “Song Ji Eun will be releasing an emotional ballad track that will be presented through a short but powerful stage. Please look forward to her new image, which will be different to what she’s shown through SECRET.”

Ji Eun is currently filming her music video and will be releasing her single on March 3rd. The company currently has about a week of promotions planned for the single.



SECRET wins Inkigayo Mutizen

SBS’s Inkigayo is back once again, and this week’s show was full of amazing and fun performances from the top participating K-pop artists!

The ‘Take 7′ nominees for the February 20th episode of Inkigayo were GD&TOP (“Don’t Go Home“), MBLAQ (“Stay“), Seungri (“What Can I Do“), SECRET (“Shy Boy“), G.NA (“Black & White“), Mighty Mouth feat. Soya (“Tok Tok“), and Navi (“Well Done“). Due to other schedules, GD&TOP, Seungri, MBLAQ, and Navi did not perform on today’s show.



Having already won once on M! Countdown, and most recently a K-Chart triple crown on Music Bank, SECRET finally completes the grand slam with their first-ever Mutizen win for “Shy Boy.” The girls have already stepped up into the big leagues with this string of wins.
