2PM，近日在日本的官方網站上正式宣佈他們計畫將于明年在日本推出特別唱片。

ジュンス(88年)、チェボム(87年)、ニックン(88年。タイ系のもよう)、テギョン(88年)、ウヨン(89年)、ジュノ(90年)、チャンソン(90年)の勝ち抜きネタ合戦系戦隊7人によるJYPからの新人。いみじくも若干先行デビューの“2AM”を踊ら(れ)ないgodの再来、と評したのに対し、こちらのヒトたちは踊れるだけでなく、跳ねることに重きをおいた、サウンドだけだと評価が半分くらいになってしまいそうな両刃の剣ともいえるいかにもJYPらしい(というかWonder Girlsがすでに音だけだと1/3の評価になってしまうが…。その逆は少女時代…という話は置いといて)あぶれもの軍団状態。もちろんgodも当初は玉石混淆どころではなかったという歴史的事実があるため、予断はいろんな意味で許されないが、17枚(34pプラス本来のジャケ)にも及ぶカラー・ページが付属しており、特に後半は6人がそれぞれ原稿用紙8枚分くらいのThanx toをしたためており、ブラック・カルチャーのバリエとしての(些少なりとも儀式要素的意識の残る)ヒップホップ系ダンスではなく、単なるグレコ・ローマンな伝統に立脚したスポーツの延長としての身体表現、すなわち“自ら歌って伴奏する男子新体操”的な領域に踏み込んでいるっぽいのは、パク・チニョン自身の最近のCM出演からも想像が許される範囲となっている。

●ヒップホップ要素を無理なく取り込んだ、いわゆる硬派歌謡ダンス系(どんなだ…。むしろ韓国的にいうボーイズ・バンドというよりはという意味で)と概括可能だが、収録曲3曲(トラック数は6)のうち、タイトルの「10点満点で10点」のほか、都合2曲をパク・チニョン自身が作詞・作曲・コーラス参加しており、かつて歌謡界のサイボーグとしての名声を恣にしたチニョンが7人目のメンバーとして加わっている割には脱力感満載(10点満点中の6点が限界か)。とすれば、2AMに対しこちらは遺憾ながら“男版Wonder…”の名を恣にせざるを得ない予感だが、それが(少なくとも2008年のうちなら)ホメコトバになってしまうのも恐ろしい。[02]はこれまた若干god寄りなため、2AMとの違いはステージだけなのではないかギワクも生じるところだが、クォン・テウン作のソウル色の濃い[03]や、[04]のOld school ver.が本来の彼らの持ち味ぽくもあるが、敷居を下げたヒップホップというよりは、上げ潮のN.R.Gや愛国心旺盛なときのO.P.P.A辺りを彷彿とさせてもしまい、90年代好きにはある程度オススメできる隠しワザ(本性かも)も持っている。練習生総放出の観もなくはないが、こうなってくると後から加入したユビン(@Wonder Girls)のラップ・スタイルというのは非常にJYPカラーぽかったといえそうなところであるので、彼らにも瓢箪からコマを期待したいところ。ちなみにタイ系のヒト含めすべて姓が違うのでそれで呼んでもよさげなものだったが、本名の名前が活動名となっている。また、表記上はInst.となっているが[05][06]はコーラスはもとよりラップまで入っているので、マイナスワン的なカラオケ用トラックである。

The boys of 2PM have ventured their way into the Japanese market with the release of a special Japanese edition of their album “1:59 PM.” They recently held a showcase in front of more than 30,000 people for their special showcase ‘1st Contact in Japan,’ and now they made an appearance on the December 9th edition of FUJI TV’s weekday morning news program Tokudane!

The boys performed ‘Heartbeat’ and the announcers talked about how popular the boys are in Japan. The female announcers were happy when 2PM ripped off their shirts at the end of the performance.

The announcer that was with 2PM live on the stage, questioned the people back in the studio with, “How was 2PM’s performance?” The lady answered, “Their bodies were so nice and muscular! I only got to see 3 of the guys’ body but all of them have a nice bodies right?”

They asked 2PM, “What type of girls they like?” Taecyeon answered, “For me, I like someone who works hard and someone who has time for me despite working hard.”

They questioned 2PM if they all worked out and Chansung answered, “Yes we have busy schedules but despite that we exercise a lot.” He then showed off his six packs which received a positive response from the female announcers. Taecyeon then was thankful and stated that they will continue to work hard.







2PM achieves an “all-kill” on popular Japanese downloading site

The boys of 2PM are scheduled to hold a showcase titled “2PM 1ST CONTACT IN JAPAN” on December 8th in Tokyo and begin their Japanese promotions in 2011 with the release of their first official album, “1:59 PM,” which will include a brand-new track in Japanese. Even though their debut is still some time away, the boys are proving to be quite popular in Japan.

Recochoku is one of the most popular downloading sites for mobile phones in Japan and 2PM recently achieved an “all-kill” on their MV download ranking, taking all five spots from their top 5 chart.


Korean groups KARA and SNSD took the 6th, 7th, and 10th spots on the chart with J-pop artists Kobukuro, Perfume, and AKB48 placing 8th, 9th, and 11th respectively.
