Brown Eyed Girls’ Jea to release solo album

Brown Eyed Girls‘ Jea will officially be starting her own solo activities though her ballad track, “Because You Sting.”

Scheduled for release on December 28th, the song was produced by hit composer Minuki and compares the sorrow of losing one’s love to the pain of a ’sting.’

Supported by MBLAQ’s G.O, the song aims to showcase Jea’s determination in showing off her entire vocal range. A more mature image transformation adds to the anticipation, as revealed by the still cuts from her music video.


Nega Network representatives revealed, “Jea’s real skills were not able to be properly expressed because she always stood on Brown Eyed Girls’ stages, where concepts are limited to their unique style. Through this song, she will be showing everything she’s got.”

Brown Eyed Girls’ Jea recently revealed photos of herself which showcased her unique charms.

On November 26th, Jea wrote on her minihompy, “Awkward V pose ^^”, “I temporarily forgot my age and drew inspiration from a children’s book to shoot a photo spread wearing a tiara, just like a little child keke.”

In the photos, you can see Jea perched on a white couch while doing both cute “V” signs and chic poses for the camera.
