JUJU's new single to be in 玉木宏Tamaki Hiroshi's and 菅野美穂Kanno Miho's new drama

JUJU’s cover album, “Request”, which is set to be released on September 29th, will be closely followed by the release of her new single on November 17th, which is tentatively titled, “Kono Yoru wo Tomete yo”.

The title track for the new single will be used in Fuji TV's fall drama, “Guilty: Akuma to Keiyaku Shita Onna”, which will start airing on October 12th.

“Guilty: Akuma to Keiyaku Shita Onna” is about Nogami Meiko (Kanno Miho), who was imprisoned at the young age of 19 for crimes that she did not do. After 12 long years in prison, she was finally released, and since then, she has dedicated her life to search for the truth. A former detective, played by Tamaki Hiroshi, crosses paths with Nogami Meiko, and he eventually falls for her.








JUJU releases her “JUJU day live” concert on DVD

After the tremendous success of her first cover album, “Request“, JUJU has announced that she will be releasing a live DVD of her “JUJU no Hi Special Live ‘Request’” performance.

The live event took place on October 10th, which the singer has declared to be ‘JUJU Day‘ (‘Jyuu‘ in Japanese is 10, so October 10th would be ‘JyuuJyuu‘). The date couldn’t have been coordinated any more perfectly, as JUJU celebrated the release of ‘Request’ at the Tokyo International Forum Hall A. Although the focus was obviously on her newest tracks, she also performed some of her big hits.

Indeed, fans got quite the surprise when collaborative guests dropped in one-by-one during the concert. The DVD will allow fans back home to see Spontania, JAY’ED, Kiyosaku (MONGOL 800), akko (My Little Lover), Kubota Toshinobu, and Oda Kazumasa perform with their favorite singer on the small screen.

The concert was definitely one of the best performances JUJU’s ever had, fans of the R&B singer will definitely not want to miss out on this special DVD!
