Earlier this week, rookie female vocal duo HerSheMerit released their second comeback single, ‘Hey Bad Boy’.
Comprised of members Sun Min and Hye Jin, their unique name derives from the words ‘Her’, ‘She’, and ‘Merit’ put together, HerSheMerit is noted for their emotional, pleading voice color and great vocal strengths.
Having debuted earlier this year with R&B ballad ‘Farewell Was Easy’, HerSheMerit’s new single, as the title outwardly suggests, spins out the psychology of women that desire bad boys.
Sun Min’s expressive voice and Hye Jin’s flavorful rap goes hand in hand to pass on a deep soul feel as well as a dynamic hip-hop flavor. The acoustic guitar sound and strong beat harmonizing together is especially notable.
