LPG’s Semi and Sooyeon were at Mokdong Stadium on April 8th to participate in the opening pitch before the 2011 Lotte Card Professional Baseball match between the Nexen Heroes and Lotte Giants.
On this day, Semi (having taken the role of pitcher) kicked up the atmosphere by delivering the ever-popular ‘high kick pitch’. Sooyeon, being the batter, unfortunately made the mistake of taking the left-handed position, though she’s technically right-handed.
After completing the opening pitch, Nexen’s mascot ‘Teokdori’ raised cheers when he swept Semi off her feet. As ‘Teokdori’ carried Semi down from the mound, Sooyeon caused laughter when she pretended to hit ‘Teokdori’ with her bat.
Having shown a great pitch and hit, LPG also delivered a great half-time show with their latest title track, ‘Angry’.
It seems that the girls were exactly the good luck charms the baseball team needed, as Nexen won against Lotte Giants with a score of 3 – 0.
