人気ロックユニット・B’zが、6月1日に2011年第2弾シングル「Don’t Wanna Lie」を発売することが、6日付の公式サイトで発表された。本作は、4月16日より公開される劇場版アニメ『名探偵コナン　沈黙の15分（クォーター）』（東宝）と、テレビアニメ『名探偵コナン』（よみうりテレビ・日本テレビ系）の主題歌となるタイトル曲と、4日より『NEWS23クロス』（TBS系）のエンディング曲としてオンエア中の「Homebound」を収録する。

発売形態は、初回盤と通常盤の2形態で、初回盤には「Don’t Wanna Lie」のミュージックビデオを収録したDVDが付属する。

またB’zは、震災の影響により延期していた2011年第1弾シングル「さよなら傷だらけの日々よ」を13日に発売。オリコン週間シングルランキングで、「太陽のKomachi Angel」（1990年6月発売）から前作「MY LONELY TOWN」（2009年11月）まで、43作連続で首位を獲得する歴代記録を樹立しており、今作でも記録更新なるか注目される。

Previously, tokyohive reported to you that hard rock duo B’z is now singing the ending theme for TBS’s NEWS23X with “Homebound“. Now it has been officially announced on their website that they will be releasing their second single of the year on June 1st.

The single will be titled “Don’t Wanna Lie”, and will be used as the theme song for the highly anticipated Detective Conan movie, “Detective Conan: Chinmoku no Quarter”, and also for the anime series itself.

“Don’t Wanna Lie” will be released in two different versions: first day limited edition and regular edition. The first day limited edition version will come with a DVD featuring the music video for the single.

B’z will also be releasing their first single of the year, “Sayonara Kizudarake no Hibi yo”, on April 13th. There is a lot of attention on how this single will do on the Oricon Charts because B’z holds a record of having 43 consecutive releases at the number one spot ever since the release of “Taiyo no Komachi Angel” back in June of 1990.

We look forward to seeing B’z continue to add onto their already impressive record.

Hard rock duo B’z will be singing the ending theme for TBS’s nightly news program, “NEWS 23x”. The track will be titled, “Homebound”, and is said to be a grand ballad number.

“Homebound” began running as the ending theme on April 4th for the news program. No announcements have been made about whether this song will be released as a single or not. However, fans speculate that any information regarding a release will most likely be posted on their official website, so we will all have to wait a little bit longer.

On a brighter note, B’z new single, “Sayonara Kizudarake no Hibi yo“, will be released on 4/13.
