Actor Odagiri Joe (35), Nagasawa Masami (23), and Oomori Nao (39) will be starring in a new commercial series promoting Keirin, also known as the sport of bike racing. The new commercial series will begin airing on April 4th.

All three actors have little knowledge of the sport, and the commercial’s concept will include Odagiri, Nagasawa, and Oomori learning more about the sport throughout the airing of the commercials. What makes this commercial series special and unique is that it will be all ad-libbed without a proper script. The first commercial will be footage of the press conference and the casts’ initial thoughts on the sport. It will be aired in three different versions: 15 seconds, 30 seconds, and 60 seconds versions.

Nagasawa commented, “When I read some articles about bike racing, it made me want to cheer for it more. Now I’m getting hooked on the greatness of this sport.” Odagiri also remarked, “When I received the storyboard it was full of XXX and △△△ marks so it really sparked my interest and made me gear up for the job.”
