American artist Lady Gaga recently uploaded a message to those who are affected by the Tohoku earthquake.
The video was uploaded by her Japanese distributer, Universal Music Japan, and is subtitled in Japanese. Gaga tells the Japanese people that not only herself but all the “monsters” (Gaga’s fanclub) are sending their prayers, and that they will do everything they can to help.
She designed a bracelet that says “We Pray for Japan” (in English and Japanese) in the “House of Gaga”. Through sales alone, they have raised $1.5 million USD (about ¥1.2 billion) and hope to raise more and send it to Japan.
You can purchase the bracelet for $5 USD via Lady Gaga’s Online Store. All proceeds go to Japan Tsunami Relief.
