美國女歌手辛蒂露波的東京演唱會未受地震影響，前天如期舉行，會後她親自在出口處募款，並為災民打氣：「日本人很堅強，一定可以度過難關。」
American singer Cindy Lauper flew to Japan and attended a charity fundraising event at the Orchard Hall in Shibuya on March 18th.
At the end of the performance, Cindy and other Japanese artists appeared, including Iruka and Yamiko and Moriguchi Hiroko. Cindy stood on stage holding a collection box for donations, bowing her head and urging many people to help donate, telling them that even a little bit will help, and that small change can become bigger.
Kumiko, who was in Ishinomaki giving a performance when the earthquake hit, said that “it was really serious” and thanked everyone for donating. Kumiko said, “I think people people can understand other people’s pain.”
