It was revealed today that entertainment agency Johnny & Associates will be donating 2000 liters of diesel fuel for disaster relief, in addition to the trucks they are providing to earthquake-affected areas.

The fuel being donated this time had been purchased in advance for Yamashita Tomohisa’s Sapporo concerts on March 18th and 19th. As we reported yesterday, Johnny’s has canceled all of their March performances, so the agency decided to put the newly-available fuel to good use.
The donation meets the dire need for gasoline and diesel fuel in stricken-areas, as many oil refineries had been destroyed in the disaster.

In addition, more details have been released regarding the vehicles the agency is lending out. A total of five 11-ton transport trucks and two 300-kilowatt generator vehicles, currently situated in Tokyo and Sapporo, are ready to be lent out, and drivers have also been secured. Johnny’s will work out further details once a request is made by affected areas.

Our sincerest sympathies go out to those who were affected by this earthquake.

Even though we see and come to know the extent of the damage through the news, it’s still really difficult to believe and it just breaks our hearts.

Fans have been concerned about our safety, but when the earthquake first broke out we were in Osaka and Tokyo doing theatre performances. We could really feel the tremors, but the three of us are blessed to be safe.

We pray that the damage doesn’t get any worse than it already is. For those who were affected by the disaster, don’t throw away your hope, we believe that you will be able to smile again. Please weather these difficulties with your family and friends. And, live!  We’re also going to be supporting you as much as we can.

For those who read this message, let’s be proactive and do what we can now, like conserve electricity.

When we all help out with little things one-by-one, it will definitely turn into a big help.

Let’s all work together and do our best to help out in our own areas!

It really pains my heart to know the extent of the damage.
A lot of people are having uneasy and painful days.
As a person of this nation, I’m thinking about things I can do to help now.
Everyone, let’s do things here and do things like conserve electricity.
And, let’s work together and do our best so that we can begin restoring the area someday soon.
Those affected by the disaster have my heartfelt sympathies.

What is something good to write right now? Honestly, I don’t know.

I never thought an earthquake like that could happen. When I heard the news, I was full of sadness and my heart dropped.
When I think about the area of the disaster, I feel really worried and I don’t know what to say.

The words won’t come out right now….
I hope that everything can be returned to how it was someday soon and I pray for the victims of the disaster to be safe.

And the things we can do now are: conserve electricity and water and don’t use the phone unless it’s an emergency.
It can be great if we all think about that and work together so that someday soon that place can be restored back to how it previously was.

Sato Atsuhiro

<Okamoto Kenichi>
How much anxiety must the people who were affected by the earthquake be facing?…It makes my heart ache. I pray that that area can be restored someday soon. We can do things that may seem a bit small. Let’s do things like conserve electricity and water. I’m sending out my sincerest prayers. Everyone, it’s difficult, but please do your best.

Okamoto Kenichi

<Ikuta Toma>
There are a lot of people who were affected by the large earthquake.
Everyone, are you okay?

I’m really worried.

It pains my heart to see the reports on TV and in the newspapers.

I’m in the middle of theatre performances in Osaka, so I don’t have any injuries and am fine.

Thank you so much for those who were concerned for me.

Right now, the only thing I can do is do my best on stage.

I believe that each person coming to the theatre has various thoughts on their mind.
Perhaps, there are some people who aren’t able to come to the theatres due to circumstances.

For those people as well

It’s what I can work my hardest at and I’ll devote myself to this play!

This is the greatest task I can do right now!
I think that and then I stand on stage every day.

I’ll do my very best on stage until the last day so that I can make you guys feel even just a little bit better.

Right now there are a lot of areas that have to conserve electricity.
Everyone, if you all work together it should be very useful.
Let’s climb over this together by working with each other during these times.

I’m really really sending my most heartfelt prayers for everyone and everyone’s family and friends.

Ikuta Toma

<Akanishi Jin>
I saw the news and saw the tragic things that happened, it makes me really worried. Are you all okay? We’re all doing our best so we can be even just a little bit helpful.  Everyone, please do your best and stick it out until the end during these harsh times.
Let’s do what we can right now.
I pray from the bottom of my heart that everyone’s precious family and friends are safe.

We seriously pray for the safety of those affected by the disaster.

It must feel hopeless.
There are so many people who are having such a terrible time.
Let’s encourage them.
You’re not alone.
We’re all cheering for you.

Everyone is searching for helpful things to do and we want to put them into practice.

For those reading this, if there’s anything you can do, like conserving electricity, then let’s do it together.

If we work together, then we should be able to overcome this crisis.

Don’t give up hope, let’s do our best together!!

<Kanjani8>
As the time passes, we realize how much damage this has caused.

When we think about those affected by the damage, as well as their family and friends… our hearts ache. We’re really concerned.

What is something good to say at a time like this? We just can’t find the right words.
Right now, we’re absolutely praying from the bottom of our hearts that everyone is safe.

We’re doing things now so that everyone can smile and be energetic again.
And because of that we’re going to work with all of our might.

We also have experience with the Great Hanshin Earthquake (1995). During that time, we didn’t give up because there were so many people who were doing their best to help us.

Now, we need to do what we can for those affected by this disaster, let’s do our very best.

Right now, people still don’t have peace of mind, but all of us members really wish that everyone will be able to smile again as quickly as possible.

<KAT-TUN>
A major disaster is happening.
Immediately following the earthquake, all of the members wrote e-mails to check up on one another and were relieved and happy to hear that none of the members had injuries, and that all of us were safe. However, all of the members are concerned for the victims and their families and those important to them.
We still worry about things like the aftershocks, but when it comes down to it, let’s work together and do whatever we can.
Things like conserving electricity… even one second is good. What can we do from where we are now?
There are still people that are suffering. This isn’t someone else’s problem.
Everyone, we’re connected, let’s become one.
And we pray from the bottom of our hearts for the safety of those in the area where the disaster occurred.

- KAT-TUN

(Kamenashi Kazuya, Taguchi Junnosuke, Tanaka Koki, Ueda Tatsuya, Nakamaru Yuuichi)

Let’s become one.

<Hey! Say! JUMP>
We pray for the safety of those affected by this major earthquake.

All of us Hey! Say! JUMP members are safe.
For everyone who worried about us, please rest easy.

Every day ,we’re all really surprised by the damage we see on TV and in the newspapers. It’s made us feel incredibly sad.

The things we can do right now doesn’t seem like very much, but we hope that our singing and dancing can bring energy and strength to those who are affected by this disaster, as well as to everyone all over Japan.

And in addition to that, we can also conserve electricity and water…
When the littlest things add up, it can help a whole lot.
Let’s start doing what we can now.

Even now we’re still in a dangerous state.
Let’s work together with our family and friends so we can overcome this just a bit quicker.

<NYC>
Right now, various places are damaged throughout Japan and when we see the news on TV, it’s really heartbreaking…

We sincerely pray that the victims are safe….

We heard that a lot of fans were worrying about us.
We, NYC, and the Hey! Say! JUMP members are safe with no injuries.
So please don’t worry.

However, all of this damage is the reality of Japan and we can’t turn our eyes away from it.

As it gets colder, there are people there with only a little bit to drink and only a little bit to eat.

The things we can do now are really small things, but…
Even if it’s small, conserve electricity so that we can diffuse it to the areas that are damaged.
We hope that food and goods can be sent to that region as soon as possible.

And,
We want to do something to give them cheer and smiles…

Even something small is okay…

If you don’t try, then it’s no good…
When we combine our hearts together, even if it’s something small, one thing becomes two, two things become three and then we can do something big.

Hereafter, we’ll continue thinking more about what things we can do to help.

People can’t be relieved just yet. We can all call out to others around us about this and overcome this together…

We’ll keep this hope until the very end, and we’ll never throw it away.

Let’s all do our best together and be helpful.

So that we can see everyone’s smiling faces once again…

We, NYC, pray for everyone’s safety.

<Kondo Masahiko>
It pains my heart to know that the victims and their families and friends are spending their days being anxious. I’m shocked whenever I watch the news since the damage is always more than I had imagined it to be.

I can’t find the right words for a situation like this, but I pray for everyone’s safety and I hope that relief will be there one day soon. I hope that it becomes an environment where the victims are safe and they can feel a little peace of mind.

I’ve been thinking about what I can do to possibly help out in this situation.

Let’s all work together to understand this situation and do things like conserve electricity.

These are painful times, but if everyone works together, then I believe we can overcome this.

Also, the people who are doing the rescue operations in the affected areas have a really brutal task.
I am so grateful to you all and I want you all to continue being strong and do your best.

All of the talents and staff want to do our very best so that someday soon, we can see a lot of peoples’ smiles again.
