Talent Kokusho Sayuri (44) announced yesterday on her official blog that she would be donating the 1 million yen (about $12,000 USD) that she had won in a lottery last November to relief efforts for the eastern Japan earthquake victims.

Kokusho wrote in her blog, “I also want to work together as a citizen of Japan! Thinking of that, I thought that I should donate the full 1 million yen that I won in the lottery at the end of last year.  Everyone, let’s join forces and do whatever we can to aid the disaster victims.”
