3月26日・27日に千葉・幕張メッセ国際展示場9～11ホールにて開催が予定されていた音楽フェスティバル「A FES エー・フェス -アニソン フェスティバル-」の中止が発表された。

アニメソングをテーマに、ALI PROJECTや椎名へきる、高垣彩陽、戸松遥、茅原実里、GRANRODEO、JAM Project、May'nなどの出演が発表されていたこのフェスティバル。しかし3月11日に発生した東日本大震災に伴い、計画停電が実施される幕張メッセへの電力供給が不確実であること、公共交通機関の運行が不安定なこと、そして会場地域において余震が続いていることを踏まえ、来場者の安全を考慮して中止されることになった。

チケットの払い戻し方法は現在オフィシャルサイトで案内中。なお、同会場にて3月19日と20日に開催が発表されていた音楽フェス「GO!FES 2011」も、同様の理由で開催中止が発表されている。

The anime song festival “A FES – Anime Song Festival -” has been canceled due to the earthquake. The festival was originally supposed to take place at Makuhari Messe Exhibition Hall in Chiba on March 26th and 27th.

The country is currently going through scheduled blackouts, so the power supply at Makuhari Messe would be uncertain, and the public transportation services are also unstable right now. Moreover, the area around the venue is still experiencing aftershocks, so taking the safety of those attending into consideration, the event has been canceled.

Furthermore, the “GO! FES 2011” music festival at Makuhari Messe on March 19th and 20th has also been canceled for the same reasons.
