On March 12th, allkpop reported that After School’s UEE shed tears during the broadcast of SBS’s “Running Man.” Well, today, viewers were able to find out why.
On the March 13th episode of “Running Man”, UEE and actor Park Joon Gyu joined the other members in a competition at 20 restaurants in Hongdae, which is known for its youthful and energetic ambiance.
In particular, this day, members created a fake corner called, ‘I miss you, friend’ to achieve their mission, ‘1 vs. 9, let’s trick UEE’ – garnering much attention from viewers. For this ‘game’, members hired fake friends, who actually consisted of VJ Kyung Ho Won, a coordinator, an actor, etc. These ‘friends’ were shown to be waiting even before the recording began.
UEE, who wasn’t aware that the friends were fake, called fellow member Nana, who said she will bring Raina and accepted the invitation. However, the production crew hastily attempted to contact Nana and Raina after UEE called them and casted them as a part of the UEE-tricking operation.
UEE became angry when she was unable to reach the two members. When they suddenly appeared right after she failed the mission, UEE was completely shocked and stated, “Can I cry on a variety show?” while her eyes glistened with tears.

The upcoming episode of SBS’s “Running Man” will feature After School’s UEE and actor Park Joon Gyu, who will both participate in a restaurant tour.
The challenge took place in front of Hongik University, and over 20 restaurants were visited by the cast. The chase turned out to be more thrilling due to the high population of citizens in the area at the time.
When UEE returned to the field where the staff was located, however, it was reported that the member had shed tears of embarrassment.
