At 2:46 PM on Friday, March 11th, Japan was hit by a magnitude 8.9 earthquake that caused a devastating 13-foot tsunami near its northeastern coast. As it currently stands, it is approximately the fifth largest earthquake since 1900.
Our thoughts are with everyone in Japan experiencing this shocking disaster.
