少女時代將於今年5月在日本舉行首次全國巡迴演唱會。SM娛樂8日表示，少女時代巡演將於5月18日在東京國際代代木體育館啟動，其後在名古屋、大阪、福岡等日本4大城市舉行總計7場演唱會。

此外，少女時代預定於4月13日推出日本第三張單曲輯《Mr.Taxi／Run Devil Run》。單曲輯中的《MR.TAXI》是在國內也沒有公開的新曲，去年1月在日本發行的《Run Devil Run》曾排在下載歌曲榜的第一名。

少女時代去年推出的日本第一張單曲《Genie》和第二張單曲《Gee》分別排在ORICON年度單曲排行榜新人榜中第一和第二。
