AKB48 has revealed the track list and cover jackets for their upcoming album, titled “Koko ni ita koto“. The album will be released on April 6th and it’s obviously being highly anticipated by fans.

The album will be released in three different versions: ‘first day limited edition’, ‘limited edition’, and ‘regular’.  The first day limited edition version comes with a CD and DVD in a special collector’s box, and it will come with a 100-page photo booklet and a special collector’s photo. On top of that, this first time limited edition version will come with a ticket that gives you a chance to win a special present from AKB48. The regular version comes with a CD and DVD, and will feature a special cover jacket.  The limited edition version will be released with only a CD, but will include a ticket for the album fan event and a random photo of a member.

AKB48 wants you to vote!

On April 10th, the citizens of Tokyo will elect their governor and recently, the Committee for Election Administration have recruited 13 adult members of “AKB48” to endorse this election by appearing on CM advertisements and posters.
There will be three different CMs with the slogan, “TOHYO (Vote) TOKYO, Let’s go vote! For you and for Tokyo”. Oshima Yuko and Shinoda Mariko yells out, “every vote is important!’.

Starting at the end of March, the CMs will be shown on large screens located in 38 locations across Tokyo and they will also be shown inside the JR and Tokyo Metro trains as well.

AKB48’s Oshima Yuko has a tendency to be a bit eccentric at times, but I can’t really explain what you are about to see below, mainly because I have no idea what is going on.
Anyway, see for yourself and get back to me…

Seriously, what is going on? I don’t know, but it’s hilarious.
