Twitter unveils special POLYSICS user icon application


Source: new album, “Oh! No! It’s Heavy Polysick!!!”, Twitter will let its users become “heavy Polysick”!

The special application allows you to adopt the band’s signature silver straight-bar visors as if you were one of the members of the eccentric rock band. A special web page instructing users on how to add the visor to their user icon has been created in English for all of POLYSICS loyal international fans, which can be viewed here.


Currently, the band is preparing for their March 4th one-man live in Tokyo. The performance will also be broadcast over Ustream for those who are unable to attend the event.

In order to thank those who purchase their upcoming album, “Oh! No! It’s Heavy Polysick!!!”, electro-punk band POLYSICS is planning to release yet another cover jacket… this time featuring their own fans!

The original cover features various pictures of POLYSICS and their staff in identical outfits, and wearing the band’s signature straight-bar glasses. To create a new cover for their album, POLYSICS will select sixty random fans who purchase their latest album and invite them to take pictures in these costumes.  The cover will be featured on a re-released version of “Oh! No! It’s Heavy Polysick!!!”.

Any person who purchases the album at Tower Records, HMV, or TSUTAYA music stores will receive an application to appear on the cover. Twenty people will be selected from each company, and the sixty people who are selected will be asked to attend the photographing sessions in Tokyo and Osaka.
