Popular underground R&B artist Ms.OOJA made her major label debut with the single “It’s OK” on February 16th, and she had a cute surprise party thrown for her in celebration.
After performing in Aomori, the singer-songwriter traveled back home and was moved to tears by the kindness of her friends. Ms.OOJA blogged, “Before I sang ‘It’s OK,’ they suddenly (surprised me with) a cake and a bouquet of flowers. I cried again ( T_T)＼(^-^ ) Thank you so so very much, everybody!”
She also uploaded a picture of the custom cake purchased for the surprise party, which features a cartoon version of the cover of her first album, “Ms.OOJA”.
Fans commented, “What an amazing cake!”, “I can feel the love from your surprise party,” and “I can’t wait to see you come on TV!”

R&B veteran Ms.OOJA revealed some exciting news for fans through her official blog!
The singer-songwriter thanked everyone for their warm support her during her major label debut, and so she decided to give back to her fanbase in the best way a musician possibly could – by announcing a brand new single!
Ms.OOJA’s upcoming release will be titled “Life”, and it’s set to drop on April 27th. The star wrote, “It’s still a little early, but… I was really itching to tell you guys soon.” She continued, “More information about it will follow. I’ll do my best so that I can reach more and more people~ Truly, thank you everybody ♥“.
