Two “Mega Erikas” have been sighted in central Tokyo today and they caused quite an uproar.

What sounds like the first five minutes of a Japanese kaiju movie turns out to be the new big ad campaign of “Takano Yuri Beauty Clinic” featuring their main image character, Sawajiri Erika.

The two huge 12.0 x 8.4 meter (39′ x 28′) posters can be seen at the FLAGS building at the south-east entrance of Shinjuku, Tokyo, and portray the concepts of a “holy woman” and a “wicked woman”.

In the “holy woman” poster, the caption reads, “I’m a timid woman falling for genuine love.” In the picture, Sawajiri is surrounded by beautiful flowers and assumes a cute and innocent expression. The “wicked woman” version features her with a purple rose in her mouth, a bold low back dress, and a cool expression. Here the caption says, “Insincere love makes me a wicked woman.”

The new commercial for the beauty clinic is scheduled to go on air on March 7th.

On February 28th, Takano Yuri and Sawajiri are going to hold yet another press conference to talk about the new campaign. In a recent TV interview, Sawajiri already revealed that she is going to talk about her upcoming activities and the newest relationship rumors surrounding her.



Erika Sawajiri goes to in-law’s home to apologize

Sawajiri Erika and Takashiro Tsuyoshi are currently in the middle of divorce negotiations and Erika has not met up with her in-laws yet. According to Lila, Erika and her brother went to Takeshiro’s mother’s house with the intention to apologize. “They just went there to apologize. Erika wanted to tell her, ‘I apologize that my marriage has gone bad’.”

Lila said that Erika hadn’t been able to meet Takashiro’s mother face to face. “Takashiro’s younger sister showed up and got angry at Erika and her brother for causing trouble.” Therefore, Erika still wasn’t able to achieve her goal and apologize.

She didn’t explain why Erika visited at that specific time. It’s possible that Erika wanted to make it a “fact” that she apologized to Takashiro’s side before her press conference on the 28th. At the press conference, Erika is expected to discuss her divorce as well as her new relationship with a Spanish man who is said to cultivate marijiuana.

Actress Sawajiri Erika (24) appeared on NTV’s “Miyaneya” on February 24th and expressed her plan to travel around the world alone. Sawajiri will turn 25 on April 8th, so she happily explained, “My goal is to travel to 25 different cities. I’m thinking about going to places like Sri Lanka and Egypt.”

Furthermore, she is currently in the middle of divorce negotiations with her husband, Takashiro Tsuyoshi (46), who published a book on the 24th, titled “My name is Takeshiro Tsuyoshi. Address Unknown. Occupation Unknown”.

Sawajiri commented on release, saying, “It seems he’s going to have a publication commemoration event on March 1st. Why didn’t I get an invitation? Maybe I should just barge in for a bit.”

Actress Sawajiri Erika, who is currently in the midst of negotiating her divorce with husband Takashiro Tsuyoshi, has yet to explain her side of the story to her in-laws.

According to those involved, Takashiro’s bedridden 78-year-old mother received a phone call from Sawajiri’s brother, saying “I’m bringing Erika to come explain.” The actress had previously refused to visit her mother-in-law to talk about the divorce, so her brother felt compelled to drag her over to her husband’s parent’s home in order to finally open discussions.

Unfortunately, the visit was made in vain, as Takashiro’s mother was removed from the house. Upon returning home, Erika left a message on her mother-in-law’s answering machine explaining the reason for her sudden, forceful visit.

Takashiro’s younger sister has also publicly confirmed that a lawyer had been hired against the Sawajiri family for this incident.
