The exclusive event allowed thirty randomly selected female fans to take a look at the recently completed PV for the single, along with a heartfelt confession from HIROKO.
Comedian Itou Asako also made a surprise appearance at the event, where she read the emotionally-packed lyrics of “Saigo no Koi” out loud. “This is the first time I’ve (seen) a recitation, but (hearing) Itou-san – who I really really like – read (my song) out loud is a once-in-lifetime memory,” she said of the comedian’s performance, deeply moved by the experience.
“The (lyrics of ‘Saigo no Koi’) is a story about an unrequited, long-distance relationship I had when I was about eighteen,”
she said to the small crowd, revealing the broken heart behind her upcoming song. Despite meeting for the first time at the event, Itou and HIROKO then had their own “girl’s talk” like good friends. Afterwards, HIROKO performed her new song.
“Saigo no Koi” will be released on March 9th and comes in the standard two editions: a limited ‘CD+DVD’ version and a regular ‘CD-only’ versions. Since neither the covers nor track list have been revealed, keep checking tokyohive for more updates on the mihimaru GT member’s upcoming solo release!
