We previously reported that an arrest warrant has been put out for Komukai Minako, who had canceled her flight back to Japan earlier, but it looks like she is continuing to evade capture by the police for her alleged drug purchases.

Komukai appeared at the airport on February 16th, prepared to fly business class on Delta Airlines Flight 172, and finished check-in without problems. However, as departure time approached, and the boarding gates were closed, it was discovered that the wanted star was nowhere in sight. A man who had been near Komukai in the lobby prior to her disappearance realized who she was and immediately reported her to the nearest official.

This same man happened to be from Japan himself and overheard another Japanese woman nearby making a phone call to an unknown contact. The beautiful, slender, and fair-skinned woman is most likely the same person who came to the airport to cancel Komukai’s previous flight, and appeared to be very impatient with the person on the other side of the phone.

In the end, neither of the women appear to have actually boarded the plane, prolonging the search for the suspect once more.



The Philippines puts out a warrant for Komukai Minako's arrest

tokyohive previously reported that an arrest warrant for Komukai Minako (25) was put out in Japan due to suspicions of drug purchases. However, the talent was in the Philippines during this time, and it was reported that she had canceled her flight back to Japan on February 11th and went to the immigration office in the Philippines to extend her visa. She was granted the extension on the same day, and it is valid until March 21st.

Finally the Philippines authorities are taking action and have issued an arrest warrant for Komukai in the country. The next time she attempts to extend her visa, she most certainly will be denied. The latest Komukai will be allowed to stay in the Philippines is until March 21st. As soon as Komukai re-enters Japan, she will be immediately arrested.

TV Asahi reported that Komukai had checked out of her hotel in Manila on the 10th, but was seen with a man near the same hotel the following day. Those are her last known whereabouts.
