Koda Kumi has collaborated with a late night variety show, called “Onegai! Ranking“, and she wrote its support song, “Choitashi Life“.

“Choitashi Life” is for one of the corners of the show, “Choitashi Cooking“, in which they rank what ingredients help make a certain menu item taste better.

This collaboration was set off when Koda made a guest appearance on the corner in July of 2010, and the assistant director of the show, who is a big fan of Koda, asked her to make a song for “Choitashi Cooking.” Koda willingly consented to the offer, and the song “Choitashi Life” was made.

The song will be included in Koda’s upcoming album, “Dejavu“, which is set to be released on March 2nd, and on the next episode of “Onegai! Ranking” (February 9th), more details about the song will be revealed.
