美少女組合4minute在6日舉行的“Billboard JAPAN Music Awards 2010”上獲得K-POP新星獎（K-POP new artist）。4minute表示，非常榮幸得到這個獎項，今後將更加努力，希望走出韓國、日本等亞洲地區，在世界舞臺上發展。

日本人氣組合EXILE、AKB48和美國著名組合Backstreet Boys成員尼克卡特參加了當天的頒獎典禮。富士電視臺向日本全國進行了現場直播。4minute即將於下月推出新的日文單曲《WHY》。

On February 6th, the ladies of 4minute proudly received the “K-Pop New Artist of the Year” award at the “2010 Billboard Japan Music Awards“, held in Tokyo’s Midtown Hall.

4minute stated, “It’s an honor to be chosen by Billboard Japan as K-Pop New Artist. We’ll be working hard to receive recognition not only in Korea and Japan, but all of Asia as well.”

A Billboard 代表representative revealed, “4minute’s 獨特的unique musical color and performances earned great popularity in Japan. We’re looking forward to their growth as artists in 2011.”

At the awards ceremony, the girls delivered 有活力energetic performances of “FIRST” and “Muzik“. Currently, 4minute is preparing to release their next Japanese single, “Why“.
