J-Urban artist May J. updated her website with some worrying news.

According her announcement, May J. has come down with the flu and was forced to cancel her upcoming “I Gosso!” performance, which was scheduled for February 5th. Ticket refunds will not be available to fans who planned to attend the event due to the sudden cancellation by the artist.

“To those of you who were looking forward to the performance, I’m truly very sorry,” the singer stated. “I’ll get better in one day for everyone who was looking forward to this performance… I’m so sorry for troubling you all right now.”

Fans seemed understanding and wished her a speedy recovery, commenting, “Take it easy and get better soon,” “Are you alright, May-chan? Get lots of rest,” and “I’m looking forward to May-chan’s healthy return.”
