The “CD shop awards” is an annual award show chosen by the votes from sales 店員clerks of CD stores all across Japan. This is the 3rd year for the awards and the selections for the winners were made from all the Japanese original albums for both majors and indies (except best albums) that were released during November 1st 2009 to October 31st 2010 (there are also awards for international albums as well). The awarding ceremony was held on January 20th at Shibuya WWW.
