Get ready for a double dose of good news, TVXQ fans!

The jacket cover for TVXQ’s comeback album has just been unveiled. On top of that, it’s been announced that the two boys will be releasing a special edition of their comeback album prior to the original edition’s release!

On December 24th, a representative from SM Entertainment stated, “After 2 years and 3 months, TVXQ’s comeback album, ‘Keep Your Head Down“, will be released as a special edition on January 5th.”

普通盤 10首新歌+1首隱藏版(2011/01/12發行)

The special edition will contain a total of 10 tracks, including their title track “Keep Your Head Down / 왜 (Why)”. Additionally, it will contain a 100-page photobook, containing pictures of Yunho and Changmin.

The original edition album, to be released on January 12th, will contain one track that is not included in the special edition.

Meanwhile, TVXQ is scheduled to celebrate their comeback by having an autograph signing event in the middle of January.

TVXQ’s Yunho and Changmin uploaded handwritten Christmas messages for their fans through their official homepage on December 24th.

Yunho wrote:

The 26th is the seventh year since we’ve been with you all~

TVXQ will be releasing the special edition of their comeback album, “Keep Your Head Down“, on January 5th along with a standard release on January 12th.

Release date for TVXQ’s track on “Athena” OST revealed!

TVXQ’s participation track for SBS’s “Athena: Goddess of War” OST will finally be released on December 20th.

As previously reported, their song will be the background music for thrilling action scenes. The duo’s passionate voices (combined with the deep string performance and strong bass) will surely make the viewers’ hearts race as they anxiously follow the tense scenes.

Starting from 10AM KST, the song can be found on various music sites like Melon, Dosirak, Bugs and Cyworld; the music video, which features footage from the drama, will be available during that as well.

The duo’s official comeback album is scheduled for release January 5th, 2011.

TVXQ’s comeback single ranks #1 in pre-orders at Japan’s HMV

News of TVXQ Yunho and Changmin’s return to the music scene has caused an explosive reaction in Japan.

Their new Japanese single, scheduled for release on January 26th, ranked in at #1 on HMV Japan’s pre-order chart, kicking off their official comeback activities to a solid start.

The boys have already been quite busy preparing tracks for two OSTs - SBS’s “Athena: Goddess of War“, as well as Japan’s highly-anticipated drama, “Beautiful Neighbors.”

The song for “Beautiful Neighbours” (title yet undisclosed) will play on Tuesdays at 10PM every week starting January 11th through Fuji TV.

Meanwhile, their Korean album will be released on the 5th, followed by a Japanese single version of the album on the 26th.
