因為有愛，再艱困的環境也關不住思念的歌聲，一位為母則強的媽媽靜慧(金允珍飾演)，­為了保護腹中胎兒，錯手殺死暴力相向的丈夫，因而入獄服刑。而後在­獄中誕生一子敏宇­，但獄中規定敏宇在一歲半時必須送到寄養家庭，也因此靜慧非常珍惜每­分每秒與兒子相­處的機會。在這，每個女囚都揹負著既悲傷又不堪的過去。因此靜慧決心要組一個女子監獄­合唱團，用­動人的歌聲撫平彼此的傷痕，也向監獄外的親人傳達思念。因為合唱練習，彼­此漸漸熟悉的­女囚們，在相處中得知他人不一樣的故事，本來冷漠的監獄內因為陣陣的歌­唱聲溫暖了起來­。她們打破外界對女子監獄的印象，一起學唱歌學跳舞，有愛無懼的勇氣­讓他們充滿力量，­每個人都努力唱出最真誠動人的歌聲，治療彼此傷痕累累的心，並為將­被送去寄養家庭的孩­子送上最後的祝福......。





Summary

Moon Ok (Mun-hee Na) was a musical professor at a university, but is now on death row for committing a crime caused by the abuse of her husband and mother-in-law. In prison she meets a young lady named Jeong-hye (Yunjin Kim) who killed her husband because of physical abuse. At the time of her arrest, Jeong-hye was pregnant and the baby was eventually born in prison. Now 18 months later, Jeong-hye’s baby must be given up for adoption. To spend one day with her baby outside of prison, Jeong-hye forms a prison choir group. Moon Ok becomes the conductor for this choir.

The inmates and prison officers are soon touched by the music produced by this group. “Harmony” provides for a unique human drama set within the world of a female prison.

Kim Yun Jin is trying to make history!

Kim is currently starring in ABC’s Lost and is going to be on the cover of a famous American magazine. That sounds sweet! She’s been gaining publicity since she’s been starring in the hit series and now it’s finally paying off. But why is she making history by being on a cover of Entertainment Weekly? Because she is the first Korean to be on the magazine’s cover by herself.

Don’t worry Korea, she hasn’t forgotten you guys. The movie, that already came out, has already hit more than 1 million viewers since its release date. It’s titled Harmony. You can check out everything about the movie right here on the blog. Kim Yun Jin has been acting lost since 2004.
