在2007年，一首從美國長跑選手Delilah DiCrescenzo的偶遇情緣得到創作靈感，描述傷心男孩思念遠在天邊的女孩的平凡情歌"Hey There Delilah"感動了全世界，讓這支來自美國伊利諾州的流行搖滾樂團Plain White T's瞬間成為全球樂壇的矚目焦點，這首歌曲拿下全美熱門單曲榜、流行單曲榜、成人抒情榜與歐洲熱門單曲榜冠軍，在YouTube網站上贏得超過4000萬名網友齊聲讚揚，而且還獲得2008年葛萊美獎年度歌曲與最佳流行樂團演唱獎提名。其實早在這首單曲走紅前10年，Plain White T's就已經開始在獨立廠牌發表作品，儘管這樣的資歷稱得上是經驗老道的樂團，不過，在2010年的專輯【Wonders Of The Younger】中，他們要帶給樂迷源源不絕的年輕搖滾活力！

擔任樂團主唱、吉他手與創作核心的Tim Higgenson在2009年情人節假期去拉斯維加斯看了太陽劇團(Cirque du Soleil)的大戲「O」，Higgenson表示：「整場表演有海盜船、小丑、旋轉木馬輪番現身，跑進水池，還有一台鋼琴從水中出現，非常具有史詩般的氣勢，我很愛這場秀，它帶給我一種當我還是小孩的時候第一次看『七寶奇謀』、『法櫃奇兵』這些電影的感覺，非常具有冒險性、想像力，與眾不同的感覺，我離場之後，就想要做一張有著相同感覺的專輯。」

【Wonders Of The Younger】專輯滿載著激發想像與冒險，呈現青春活力的歌曲，像是"Wonders Of The Younger"、"Cirque Dans La Rue"…等等，他們同時也把歌曲中所描述的冒險精神轉化為專輯整體樂風的呈現，不管是喜歡Plain White T’s出道早期的流行龐克搖滾風格，或是熱愛他們竄紅時的傳統流行搖滾情歌風格的樂迷，都會在此張專輯找到熟悉的風格。此外，在歌曲創作、編曲與製作上都展現了組團以來最豐富的聽覺層次感。第一支單曲"Rhythm Of Love"，首度擔任主唱職務的吉他手Tim Lopez表示，這首歌是寫給從11歲就認識，在2008年才開始交往，卻又因樂團巡迴演唱而分手的女生，他藉由這首歌表達再續情緣的心聲。專輯同時收錄樂團在2010年春季為「魔境夢遊」電影原聲帶跨刀創作的歌曲"Welcome To Mystery"。

The album gets off to a faster start with "Irrational Anthem," a sort of thematic overture for the record. "Lyrically," says Higgenson, "I think it says exactly what I want the album to say. I think the line that sums up the whole album is Let your mind go anywhere it wants to. Don't lose your imagination. Don't get so wrapped up in your day-to-day life that you forget to dream or be creative, or forget to recapture those things or at least remember them. That's the beauty of life. I'm a very nostalgic guy, so a lot of where my head lives is in memories. I spend a lot of my time looking back and smiling at past things that have happened in my life."
