Utada Hikaru’s two day concert series “WILD LIFE” announced

After announcing the release of her second single collection album, “Utada Hikaru Single Collection Vol. 2“, and her upcoming hiatus thereafter, Utada Hikaru has just announced another treat for fans: a two-day concert series in Yokohama Arena, called “WILD LIFE“.
The multi-million selling artist, who has not been on tour in Japan since 2006’s “Utada United“, will hold the two concerts on December the 8th and 9th. The dates hold significance as she made her debut on December 9th, 12 years ago with ‘Automatic.’ Fans will be able to obtain tickets through a lottery system, and have a chance of entering to win tickets by purchasing the first press edition of the new album as well.
Utada’s cover of “Hymne a l’amour“, released as the first digital single from the upcoming second disc of the single collection, recently snatched the #1 spot on the iTunes charts. Furthermore, it was recently announced on twitter by Teruzane Utada, father of the star, that her American “In The Flesh” Tour from earlier this year will be released in some form in coming months.

日本天后宇多田明年將無限期停止歌手活動，所屬唱片公司EMI下月24日推出新歌加精選輯《冠軍全記錄VOL.2》，日本環球唱片未經她同意搭順風車，於同天發行英文精選《Utada The Best》，她大為光火，竟呼籲粉絲罷買！
12月辦告別演唱
她昨在推特（http://twitter.com/utadahikaru ）痛批：「日本環球擅自發行英文精選，故意和EMI推出的精選撞期，給我不好的印象，請大家不要預購。雖然賣不好被罵的是我，但希望歌迷不要掏錢買那種不用心、無新作的東西。」她強調EMI發行的精選有5首新歌，誠意十足。
她近來除接拍可樂廣告，未公開露臉，下月21日將上六本木現場直播廣播節目，為精選輯造勢，12月8、9日在橫濱辦告別演唱會。《冠軍全記錄VOL.2》12月初在台上市，《Utada The Best》未確定是否在台發行。

Utada Hikaru is set to release her Japanese “best” album, “Utada Hikaru SINGLE COLLECTION VOL.2“, on November 24th, but she might not want fans to purchase her American best album, “Utada the best“.
Odd? Seemingly so, but she recently commented on Twitter regarding her American “best” album's release, “The release of ‘Utada the best’ is entirely against my will. I wish that my fans won’t have to buy it. There’s no new material in it.”
Just minutes later, she posted another message, “‘SINGLE COLLECTION VOL.2′ is a sincere release from me. In the coming days, I plan on making a more detailed comment about ‘Utada the best’, but pre-orders have already started…and I simply wrote what I did because I couldn’t restrain myself anymore. Good night for now!”
