While Lolene‘s debut album ‘The Electrick Hotel’ undergoes renovation for its leaky plumbing, Miss Foo Foo is keeping us entertained with a mixtape titled ‘Cracked Not Broken – Mixtape Volume 1‘. Here’s what she had to say about the project:

”‘Cracked Not Broken’ is a passion project, mix-tape and gift to you my amazing patient fans while my album ‘The Electrick Hotel’ is under going renovation after leaks. I have experimented with different genres and switched up some of my favorite songs. Don’t worry though lovers, I am and always will be pop music x One love x LOLENE”

The first track off the mixtape is ‘What’s In Your Head Zombie‘, a reworked version of The Cranberries’1994 classic ‘Zombie’. The original references to the conflict in Northern Ireland have been replaced with a story about – we presume – a friend struggling with drug abuse.
