In the last two year, Taiwan-based Korean singer Nicky Lee has spent a lot of time away from music, starring in the movie Mulan and getting busy with his own restaurant. But he has kept composing songs whenever he had time, and now he is back with his first album in two years - or 756 days to be exact. The album title plays on the word Jiu, which is not only part of Nicky's original name, but also implies "long", or "nine", the number of tracks on the album. In fact, he selected the best six out of the 38 songs he has written, including the drama theme songs "End of Love" and "The Last Day". Also on the fifth Mandarin album of Nicky's solo career are "Summer" (the song that Jay Chou tailor-made for him), Monga's feature song Making Love Out of Nothing at All (originally by Air Supply), and Right Here Waiting (originally by Richard Marx).
