Earlier this summer, Miranda struck animated-feature gold when she did the voice of Margo in the hit "Despicable Me" starring Steve Carell, Jason Segel, Russell Brand, Julie Andrews, Will Arnett & others. The film's production budget was roughly $70mil & it went on to earn nearly $325 at the box-office.

Her's character is described as "the oldest girl of the group of orphans. Miranda describes her as "a little mother" - because she is very protective of her two younger sisters. She is, for a majority of the film, untrusting of Gru. But she later learns to grow close to Gru and her sisters feel the same way."
